SunButter® sunflower seed butter

We used our passion and experience with sunflowers and expertise of the U.S. Department of Agriculture to develop SunButter®, a sunflower seed butter made with locally grown, specially roasted sunflower seeds. Our initial expectation was that it would be used as an ingredient in other food products, yet we soon discovered that this delicious sunflower seed butter could serve as a peanut butter alternative.

Between 1997 and 2008, the number of U.S. children with peanut and tree nut allergies more than tripled, and we saw firsthand how SunButter could provide a safe, peanut-free and tree nut-free solution for families with food allergies. Since the introduction of SunButter in 2002, our customers have turned to our sunflower seed spread for safe and healthy lunches, snacks, and peanut- and tree nut-free recipes.

SunButter is now found nationwide in the United States and Canada in grocery stores, schools and other institutions. In addition, SunButter is used as an ingredient and peanut butter substitute in many food products. Please visit the SunButter website for more information about this exceptionally nutritious and delicious product.
